On July 21st, 2023, Until I Wake release new debut single "Cold". The music video for this latest banger was directed by Blackwolf Imaging, who has produced music videos for artists under big name record companies such as Fearless Records. Until I Wake is a post hardcore, metal-core band that is signed under Fearless Records. Until I Wake originated from Buffalo, NY and formed in late 2019 into early 2020. The lineup of the band consists of vocalist Cody Jamison Johnson, guitarists Niko Karras and August Geitner, bassist Ryan Ridley and finally drummer Alex Curtin.

Cold speaks about the struggles within a relationship. Despite the bond between two lovers being broken, the love between them still carries on. Critics argue the best songs are derived from intense emotions, which is why thousands have been blasting Cold on repeat since the release date. The heartbreak song hones in on a sentiment many people can relate to and have even felt personally. When you can relate to lyrics, listeners feel more connected to the artist and thus the music. Until I Wake does a phenomenal job consistently intertwining heavy themes with their post-hardcore style and this has harbored a loyal fanbase who take the time to learn the heavy lyrics by heart.
