Taking Back Sunday, a prominent figure in the alternative rock and emo scene just released their new single, "Amphetamine Smiles." The track is a poignant and introspective song that delves into the complexities of human emotions and relationships. Taking Back Sunday is comprised of lead vocalist Adam Lazzara. lead guitarist/pianist/vocalist John Nolan, bassist Shaun Cooper and percussionist Mark O'Connell. "Amphetamine Smiles" is the third prerelease track on the bands upcoming album, 152, which will be available on Friday October 27th.

To celebrate the release of their first album in seven years, the band has announced a few new shows including November 6 at Lodge Room in Los Angeles; November 9 at Eastside Bowl in Nashville; and November 13 at Bowery Ballroom in NYC. On-sale begins Friday, September 29 at 10:00AM local time. In addition, the band also announced the ninth Annual Taking Back Sunday Holiday Spectacular at Mulcahy's Pub and Concert Hall in Wantagh, NY on December 13 and 14, and Starland Ballroom in Sayreville, NJ on December 15 and 16. Tickets are on sale now.

Produced by Tusher Apte and mixed by Neal Avron, the long awaited album features ten delicately crafted masterpieces, inspired by the trials and tribulations we have faced in the last few years.
