Slam Dunk Will Be You Me At Six's Final Ever UK Festival Plus More Name's Announced

Updated: May 1

With the news hitting the screens yesterday evening, it is indeed true that the beloved You Me At Six will not be playing anymore festivals any time soon. With the band announcing their split after a strong 20 years, Slam Dunk offer us a glimmer of happiness as it confirms You Me At Six will still be headlining this summer.

You Me At Six said, “We couldn’t think of a better place to perform our last festival appearance than the festival that first ever booked us. It’s going to be a full circle moment with raw & charged up emotion in abundance. We can’t wait.”

Along with the sad news comes a side of good as this fest finally announce the final names to join the 2024 lineup and we can't wait. We have renowned American rock band, The Dangerous Summer. Leeds’ very own metal-core, Caskets. Brit metal band As Everything Unfolds. The local lads that are known as ‘the new generation of Manchester hardcore’, Guilt Trip. Canadian quartet, Arm’s Length. The emo, pop-punk band Beauty School.

Today’s announcement completes the stratospheric Slam Dunk line up for this May, alongside the likes of The All American Rejects, I Prevail, Funeral For A Friend, The Interrupters, Waterparks, State Champs, Asking Alexandria, The Wonder Years, Mallory Knox and more. Find the line-up in full here. A must-attend on the UK festival circuit, Slam Dunk has been serving up a healthy dose of rock, alt, pop-punk, metal and emo since 2006.

The countdown is now officially on for Slam Dunk Festival 2024 and we can't wait – coming to Hatfield Park on Saturday 25 May and Leeds Temple Newsam on Sunday 26 May.
