The multi-talented band Plain White T's, comprising Tom Higgenson as the lead vocalist, Tim Lopez lending his expertise on lead guitar and vocals, Mike Retondo playing bass, and De'Mar Hamilton on drums, have exciting news for their fans. Brace yourselves as they have announced the launch of their latest (and self-titled) album, set to release on November 17th, under the Fearless Records label. The group's announcement of their self-titled record arrives with a lyric video for the new track "You Plus Me," available below.

The song "You Plus Me" takes you on a beautiful musical journey with its soothing acoustic guitar strumming, gentle and lilting melodies, and talk-sung vocals that deliver lyrics that feel like pages out of a journal. It's a heart-touching melody that takes you on a nostalgic ride reminiscent of the good old days. The lyrics are relatable and honest, and the song is a beautiful ode to finding and loving someone through thick and thin. This song has all the elements that make it perfect for a romantic movie montage where the couple is trying to find their way back to each other. With its simplicity, beauty, and resonance, "You Plus Me" is a song that will stay with you long after it's over.

"'You Plus Me' is a song about finding that person who is just as weird and nerdy as I am," shared Higgenson. "It's our flaws and our uniqueness that brings us together. There's kind of an 'us against the world' mentality in this song and I love that! We purposely left the recording very raw and stripped down to let that spontaneity and misfit charm shine through."

The band took ample time to work on the album and went above and beyond to bring out what truly makes the Plain White T's unique.

"We were trying to hark back to sounds we've used in the past with a freshness," shared Higgenson. "This one came from a really authentic place of understanding who we are and what we do. I'm more excited than I've been in a long time. As musicians, we're always trying to outdo ourselves or go somewhere we haven't gone before. Somehow, we figured out how to go to a fresh spot and still sound like Plain White T's."

The band has certainly struck gold with their latest album!

Las Vegas is in for a treat as the band gears up to perform at the second annual When We Were Young Festival, slated to take place later this month.
