Scott Stapp - Higher Power

One of the most iconic voices in rock, Scott Stapp first emerged as the high-energy, post-grunge frontman of Creed. With anthems like "Higher," "My Own Prison," "My Sacrifice," and "With Arms Wide Open," the band sold over 50 million albums, including a diamond certification. Throughout the early 2000's, Creed broke airplay records, sold out arenas, earned countless Billboard Music Awards and American Music Awards, and a Grammy for Best Rock Performance by a Duo or Group. As a solo artist, Stapp has released the Platnium-certified The Great Divide (2005), Proof of Life (2013) which featured his first solo #1 song, "Slow Suicide," and 2019's The Space Between the Shadows. In April 2024, Stapp will reunite with his Creed bandmates for the first time in a decade to deliver a special treat to 2000's rock lovers.

On Higher Power, Stapp further establishes his post-grunge, hard rock, and alternative rock tendencies, offering an anthemic sound and in some ways drawing comparisons to Creed's hit single "My Sacrifice." In this way, the release confesses to the authenticity of Stapp as a musician, his unwavering dedication to the rock scene and the boundaries he pushes vocally as well as musically. Stapp's stylistic individuality continues to be enhanced through his solo projects, "Higher Power" being one of his most introspective singles yet about reflecting on his faith in God and the importance of listening to one's inner voice to navigate through struggles and darkness. Overall, the album has an explosive nature, capturing the powerful emotions associated with finding strength in something greater than oneself. The album describes a metamorphosis forged by loss, frustration, betrayal and near defeat. It features standout performances by Dorothy, guitar god Yiannis Papadopoulos, and a co-writing appearance by multi-Grammy songwriter and musician Steven McEwan. The album was produced by Martin Frederiksen and Scott Stevens, coming as a response to Stapp's 2019 The Space Between The Shadows, which debuted at #3 on the US Current Rock Albums chart, the US Current Hard Music Albums chart, and the UK Official Rock & Metal Chart. "Higher Power" showcases Scott Stapp's powerful vocals while also delivering a heavy and impact musical experience.

Currently, the upcoming album's title track, "Higher Power," is at #17 on Mediabase's Active Rock chart and climbing. We anticipate a phenomenal album in the works and a most likely sold-out solo tour to come. Check out the dates below and snag tickets underneath!
