Rock For People Announces 2024 Lineup Featuring Bring Me The Horizon, Bad Omens & More

Updated: May 1

Rock for People have revealed a number of incredible music announcements, including two previously unknown headliners. From June 12–15, Park 360 in Hradec Králové will see performances from the generation Z favorite Yungblud and one of the most successful electronic bands of all time, The Prodigy. Both are joining Bring Me The Horizon and The Offspring as the main stars of the 29th Rock for People. Throughout December, the organizers have announced other big names. Fans can expect the last Czech festival performance from Sum 41, the return of the beloved Enter Shikari, dance indie sound from Bombay Bicycle Club, metal band Body Count featuring rapper Ice-T, energetic Swedish rockers Royal Republic or USA rockers Bad Omens. On Christmas Day, the day split of the line-up was announced, and one-day tickets become available for purchase. Previously announced stars of Rock for People 2024 include fierce rocker Avril Lavigne, Slipknot frontman Corey Taylor with his solo project, hard-hitting metal band Parkway Drive, and the legendary Pendulum.

For the second time, Rock for People has joined the TOP 10 medium-sized European festivals. The jury of the prestigious European Festival Awards has also included the festival in the TOP 10 in two more categories – The Brand Activation Award for Rock for People’s collaboration with the general partner Komerční banka on KB FutureFest 2030, a unique concept of a sustainable zone with a special program. Festival director Michal Thomes has also been nominated for The Award for Excellence and Passion. “I appreciate these nominations very much, and I am genuinely excited about them”, says Michal Thomes and adds: “I am also very happy that despite this year’s booking difficulties on the European market, we have managed to put together an attractive line-up that includes popular artists as well as new talents, retaining Rock for People’s position on the European festival scene.”

Limited-edition tickets to Rock for People are available at GoOut.net or at https://rockforpeople.cz/en/vstupenky/. Special tickets (VIP, Comfy+, Children, Junior, Junior ISIC, Senior, ZTP (severe health disability)), camps, glamping, and parking are also now available for purchase. Once the current edition of tickets sells out, a new edition of tickets for a higher price will follow. The organizers of the festival are long-time supporters of Konsent, a nonprofit organization which strives to debunk myths about sex and sexual violence. When purchasing a ticket to the festival, every visitor can donate a financial amount of their choice to support the organization’s activities.

Born in Yorkshire, England, YUNGBLUD – real name Dominic Harisson – is a multi-instrumentalist who picked up a guitar at the age of 2 and started writing his own songs at the age of 10. The 26-year-old artist is known for expressing what he believes are the main problems of his generation, using his music as a tool to unite and empower today’s youth. He has collaborated with artists such as Imagine Dragons’ Dan Reynolds, The 1975’s Matty Healy, Avril Lavigne, and Bring Me The Horizon’s Oli Sykes. The music video for YUNGBLUD’s song ‘The Funeral’ also features an appearance from Ozzy Osbourne.

The world was introduced to YUNGBLUD in 2018 when he released his self-titled EP, and his popularity has been growing ever since. In 2019, his EP ‘the underrated youth’ debuted in the Top 10 of the British Official Albums Chart, followed by the number one British album ‘weird!’ in 2020, which has since been certified gold. He has also received four nominations at NME Awards, winning best music video with ‘original me’. His critically acclaimed third studio album, released on September 2, 2022, reached the first spot in six countries and has been streamed over 423 million times. YUNGBLUD currently has over 6 million monthly listeners on Spotify and over 3 billion global streams. His most recent hit is titled ‘Lowlife’.

The Prodigy is one of the most successful electronic bands of all time, having sold an estimated 25 million records worldwide, including 4.7 million album copies in the UK. All of their seven studio albums have reached number one on the British chart. AllMusic described them as “the premiere dance act for the alternative masses” and “the Godfathers of Rave”. The Prodigy have won many awards over the course of their career, including two Brit Awards for Best British Dance Act, three MTV Video Music Awards, two Kerrang! Awards, five MTV Europe Music Awards, and two Grammy Award nominations.
