Ice Nine Kills Drops Spooky Orchestral Version of Chart-Topping Album on Streaming Platforms

Updated: Apr 17

It's the spookiest day of the year, and to celebrate Halloween, Ice Nine Kills has gifted their fans with a haunting and epic orchestral version of their chart-topping 2021 album 'The Silver Scream 2: Welcome To Horrorwood'. The theatrical horror metal band has collaborated with symphonic metal band Fleshgod Apocalypse's Francesco Ferrini to create this reimagined masterpiece that adds even more drama and cinematic grandeur to their already blood-soaked heavy metal sound.

Ice Nine Kills' front man, Spencer Charnas, is thrilled to share this boundary-pushing release with their fans, stating, "By collaborating with Francesco Ferrini of Fleshgod Apocalypse, we've transformed The Silver Scream 2 into an epic, spine-chilling symphony. Each song now unfolds like a haunted film score echoing from a distant catacomb, calling to the children of the night to come out and play. Be warned, listening to these other-worldly arrangements on All Hallow's Eve may summon forth ancient evils for which we cannot be held responsible. Listen if you dare.."

The orchestral version of "Welcome To Horrorwood" is part of the band's deluxe boxset release, 'Welcome To Horrorwood: Under Fire.' The limited edition 3LP deluxe edition of 'The Silver Scream 2: Welcome To Horrorwood' features the original album, along with the addition of a brand new single 'Meat & Greet,' two reimagined tracks, and a wearable Silence mask, all enclosed in a highly collectible flame-engulfed box set.

Fans who attended the immersive Hollywood event had the privilege of witnessing the official video premiere of the Silence of The Lambs-inspired new track, "Meat & Greet." The video served as the blood-soaked finale of the 'Welcome To Horrorwood Saga,' a story created and serialized by Charnas across the eight official music videos released throughout the album campaign. The music videos were shown together as one short film for the first time at the event. Don't miss out on this must-have deluxe box set for any horror or metal music fan!
