In celebration of Dark Sun's release in 2022, California quartet DAYSEEKER have shared the video for their song "Dreamstate." Performance footage is included in the video of a vehicle and you may feel as if the mechanic is living in a dreamworld or if you may consider a "dreamstate". According to Dayseeker's vocalist Rory Rodriguez, he mentions "'Dreamstate' is about vivid dreams I had of my father after he passed.. there were truly times it felt as if we were communicating with one another, but I'd wake to reality and it would deeply affect my ability to cope."

There is nothing quiet about Dayseeker. Since forming several years ago, the band has steadily gained momentum - and now they have reached a tipping point. After 2019's Sleeptalk, Dayseeker became a scene standout. Alternative Press hailed the album as "a warm, welcome release to higher ground" and as "a much needed breath of fresh air in post-hardcore music." This album has since been viewed by over 125 million people, and it has established the band as a formidable force in the music industry - and one ready for its next big thing. Fans received a fresh and unique take on their favorite songs when the band released the Sleeptalk deluxe edition in 2021. It also demonstrated the depth and breadth of the band's creative vision, scope, and possibilities. However, Dark Sun catapulted the band beyond the scene's stratosphere. The album is out now via Spinefarm and is at 80 millions streams.
