Some of the perks for contributing to the campaign include:

* A one of a kind painting from frontperson Krista Diem.

* A limited edition copy of the band's forthcoming third album on vinyl.

* A one of a kind song written by the band just for you!

* A special "thank you" in the album's liner notes.

* The band's eternal gratitude!

On the upcoming campaign the band says:

Hello Friends,

LAPÊCHE is a New York-based band made up of passionate and caring, lifelong musicians. Making music is our way to be creative, to be of service, to build human connection, and hopefully, to bring a little joy to others. So, basically, writing songs makes us happy.

We've been a self-funded, hard-working band since 2016 and as of late, have our noses to the grindstone, writing and refining new music for our next album. We've put our hearts and souls into everything we've accomplished thus far but to take this next leap, we are going to need your help...

Last year, we connected with Grammy-nominated producer, Alex Newport, as he had discovered our music online. Alex has worked with some amazing bands (At-The Drive-In, Mars Volta, Death Cab for Cutie, and Moaning, to name a few) so you can imagine our excitement when he expressed interest in working with us.

Since our first meeting, we've become fast friends and collaborators, eagerly awaiting the opening of his new studio in Yucca Valley, CA. Well, that time has come! Future Shock Studio is now open and we now have the opportunity to record our next album at this amazing locale.

To help with expenses associated with recording, producing, and manufacturing this record, we've decided to launch a crowdfunding campaign via Indie Go Go. This a Fixed Goal Campaign, which means we will only receive funds if we hit our goal by its deadline. We’ve set our monetary ask at a bare minimum of what we’ve budgeted for recording and production.

With your support, we can realize this incredible opportunity, without diving further into debt or the need to take a monetary advance from a record label, allowing us more creative control and empowering us as artists.

We don’t ask for your support lightly and we do so as humbly as we are able, recognizing that your money could go to so many other worthwhile things. That said, we invite you to become as involved as you feel comfortable. There are a wide range of tiers attached to "perks", each as a sincere "thank you" for your support. (*If no perk interests you, you can still help out. See the pink "See Options" button for contributions not associated with perks.)

There is no way we could do this without you.

Many, many, many thanks in advance,

LAPÊCHE (Krista, Drew, and Dave)

LAPÊCHE consists of Krista Diem (guitar/vocals), her husband Dave Diem (bass), Drew DeMaio (guitar). Using indie-alternative aesthetics and DIY ethics, the band combines motivational melodies with sonic backdrops. From a solo artist with a backing band to a full-fledged collaboration, their songs have developed a powerful ability to dive deep while shining brightly, encouraging personal growth as we stare across the abyss.

LAPÊCHE is in the later stages of working on their next LP with Grammy-nominated producer and engineer Alex Newport (City & Colour, Death Cab For Cutie, At The Drive-In). The band has toured with Jawbox (Dischord/Atlantic) as direct support in Boston, Philadelphia, Brooklyn, and Washington, DC, and has also shared stages with J. Robbins Band, Torche, Russian Baths, Do Make Say Think, The Cave Singers, Erica Frias, Lauren Denitzio, Deadaires, and more. They’ve also performed at Sing Out Loud Festival (St. Augustine, FL) and The Fest. The band also recently played a series of dates with Nervous Daters and Chamberlain. LAPÊCHE's second LP, Blood in the Water received critical acclaim, receiving press coverage in the likes of Under The Radar, Brooklyn Vegan, New Noise, Talkhouse (a conversation with J. Robbins) + more. "Oliver," “Finally Trying," "Bells" and "Elbow Grease" appeared on 13 different Spotify Editorial Playlists, resulting in a very active listener base and fan retention. The LP charted on the NACC 200 (#40 on the Album Charts & #5 Most Added Debut), SubModern Albums (#5), and SubModern Singles (“Finally Trying” @ #14 and “Bells” @ #16).

The band remains busy between album cycles, connecting with others and supporting causes important to each member; all while virtually demoing new music and collaborating on a remix project with Samuel Fogarino of Interpol and Dave LeBleu of The Album Leaf/The Mercury Program. They also released the well-received singles, "Bottom Feeder - V1," "Mermaid Blues," "Slight," "Mermaid Blues - V1," and a cover of Built To Spill's "Nowhere Lullaby."
