In celebration of the 40th anniversary of Talking Heads' seminal concert film "Stop Making Sense," A24 and Sister Midnight proudly present "A Night of Stop Making Sense." This unforgettable event will take place on June 4, 2024, at the Hollywood Pantages in Los Ageles, California, and on June 13, 2024, at Kings Theatre in Brooklyn, New York, offering fans an immersive experience unlike any other.

"Stop Making Sense," directed by the renowned filmmaker Jonathan Demme, captures the electrifying energy of Talking Heads at their peak. Shot at Hollywood's Pantages in December 1983, the film has since become a cult classic and is widely regarded as one of the greatest concert films of all time. To commemorate this milestone, both screenings will feature a newly restored and remastered 4k version of the film, allowing audiences to experience the magic of Talking Heads like never before.

In addition to the screenings, attendees will have the opportunity to participate in a conversation and fan Q&A with all four members of Talking Heads. Hosted y Fred Armisen in Los Angeles and Questlove in New York City, these discussions will offer insights into the making of the film and the band's legendary career.

The evening will also feature tribute performances by Blondshell in L.A. and The Linda Lindas in NYC, paying homage to Talking Heads' iconic music. From "Psycho Killer" to "Once in a Lifetime," these reinterpretations will introduce a new generation of listeners to the timeless sound of Talking Heads while offering fresh perspectives for longtime fans.
